Awards

Since the club formed in 2005 Allestree Netball club have successfully won awards across the board. In our 2nd season we won the U14 Junior League for both summer and winter tournaments. In 2007 we won the Yardley U14's Winter. The U16's were winter league runners up and then moved up to the Senior League and won in their first season. We entered a new U16 team which won the Winter Leauge in 2007.

In 2008 we entered a Hi 5 team into the local Nottingham league and 2 U12 teams. Both these teams have grown into 3 strong squads with our Hi 5 team becoming runners up on their first competition and our U12 becoming Runners Up in the Yardley U 14's Summer League. After finishing the season with our annual tour to Pontins Dorset, the U12's came home as Semi Finalists on their first visit!!

In 2009 both our WASPS U12 and STARBURST U16 won the Horncastle Netball Clubs Winter League 2009.

This year we have re opened our Senior section with 3 NEW teams for ladies who wished to get back into netball in Summer 2009 & are doing very well for their first ever season!!

Along with our 1 High 5 squad, 4 Junior (12 - 16yrs) teams & 3 Senior Teams. We are also able to boast our U18's of whom play in Derbyshire's DANA league, Division 2. This Leauge runs on a Monday night with a high standard of teams of which we are fighting to earn our place in DVISION 1 next season 2010 - 2011.

This is only our 2nd season in DANA & after coming 7th out of 15 in 209 - 2010, we are working hard to achieve a top place this season. To date, we have only lost 1 game out of 16 so far!!
