Allestree Netball Club was originally formed to provide local girls with the opportunity to play netball in a fun, supportive environment. What began as a small group of players and volunteers has developed over the years into a thriving club, offering opportunities for a wide range of ages and abilities. Volunteers have always and will always be at the heart of our club. Check out our junior volunteer programmes here.
The newly formed committee are not all new to Allestree Netball Club but are new in role and are all committed to creating a culture we can be proud of by providing opportunities for every young player, from those striving for high-performance pathways to those discovering confidence, teamwork and enjoyment through the sport.
Our ethos is simple; netball for all.
We hope our website provides you with all the answers you need, but if you have any questions please get in touch by emailing allestreenc@gmail.com
Allestree Netball Club is buzzing with momentum. This year has seen 35 new starters joining our netball family, fresh energy across every age group, mirrored with a new coach and two new team managers, all with a wealth of experience and a huge amount of energy.
Welcome to you all, we're so happy you chose us
Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsor, Casamia Homes, we’re investing directly back into our players and volunteers. Their sponsorship is helping us secure new kit, upgrade equipment, support our volunteer coaches, and continue building a club environment where every member can thrive.
We’ve launched Spond to streamline communication and make life easier for players, parents and coaches. This has not been without its issues, but we thank you whole heartedly for your patience and willingness to jump onboard with us.
And yes , we’re already planning Christmas. Because at Allestree, the fun, the community spirit and the togetherness never stop.
Allestree Netball Club is more than a club. It’s a growing movement for girls and in Derby, and we’re only just getting started.
Our new partnership with First Grade Clothing means you can order throughout the year and have your kit delivered to the door.
A huge well done to our newest qualified umpire, who qualified with merit already this season. H, you are a fabulous umpire and we thank you and all of our fabulous young umpires for giving our club your time and expertise.
