TEAMS AND FIXTURES
Our club has team representation in the Yardley League, Netball4U and DANA League as well as at regional level. Win or lose our teams support each other, tackle challenge together and grow together.
First, you’ll need to let your coach know that your daughter is interested in representing the club in a team. If there is space in an appropriate squad, she will be added. If the team is full, she may need to wait patiently until a space becomes available.
At the moment, we are working at full capacity and would really welcome any volunteers who might be willing to take on one of these roles — please let us know if you’re interested.
Team squads are selected with around nine players, sometimes more. This gives everyone plenty of match-play experience while ensuring we have enough coverage for tiredness, injury or absence.
Squad selection may be influenced by attendance at training and matches, but any concerns will be discussed with parents. Final decisions are made at the coaches’ discretion. We aim to give players as much equal court time as possible, but this will depend on your daughter’s position and the tactical needs of the team on the day. Our league matches are competitive, and we coach them with that in mind.
You will receive an invite through Spond for matches which require a response, this is quick and easy to register with one click. We appreciate this being completed as quickly as possible so we can arrange extra players if necessary. Injured players wishing to attend but unable to play should decline the invite – they are always encouraged and welcomed to join the coach on the sidelines and should send a message via the app to let us know.

Conduct and Sportsmanship
When joining the club, you will be asked to read and agree to our terms. These outline expectations for both match play and training. They cover fundamental behaviours such as supporting all players, staying positive whether you are on the court or watching from the sidelines, and maintaining respect at all times. These standards are non‑negotiable.
We also uphold important netball traditions: shaking hands at the end of each game, offering three cheers for the opposition and the umpires, and ensuring the designated captain thanks the officials.
